K-COM Model RF-2 Hard-Wired Telephone Interference Filter
Use K-COM RF-2 Filters to stop even
the most severe instances of Telephone Interference. This hard-wired design offers a
practical method of achieving a system solution to RFI. Insert interference rejection in
the building's entire telephone wiring system to eliminate or substantially reduce RF
current reaching telephone jacks. K-COM RF-2 offers the solution where the equipment or
the installation requirements prevent the use of modular connectors; or where telephone
interference cannot be eliminated with modular filters alone. KCOM RF-2 is designed for
installation behind wall-mounted telephones, inside phone jacks, at telephone service
entrances and throughout telephone system wiring (even on long runs of telephone wire).
These installation options make it possible to electrically "break up" the
telephone wiring, thus making the wiring less susceptible to RF current pick-up. This
brute-force method effectively cools down the hot RF environment found in cases of severe
interference. See K-COM Telephone Interference Technical Bulletin for details.
